In February-March 2023 the Queensland Academy of Arts and Sciences held two high-level Round Tables to address unanswered questions from the COVID-19 Pandemic. The goals were:
•           to provide a deeper and more responsive understanding of the many factors that
            impacted people’s lives and livelihoods during and subsequent to the Pandemic; and
•           to help us better manage future disasters which will befall Australia – not only
            pandemics, but also events like floods, fires, heat waves, droughts, and cyclones.
