At the Academy AGM on Wednesday 21 November, Professor Graham Baker retired from his position of Chairman of the Academy. In recognition of his five year term the Council unanimously agreed to make Graham a Companion of the Academy. Incoming President, Professor Helen Chenery said "The Academy has witnessed a step change in its activities and reputation over the last 5 years under Graham’s leadership and for that we acknowledge his dedication, energy, tireless commitment and look forward to his continuing involvement in QAAS matters." I'm sure all Academy Fellos and Members want to thank Graham for his leadership and congratualte him on his recieving this honour.
