Professor Ashley Goldsworthy AO OBE

    • He is one of Australia’s computer pioneers and received his AO, OBE, and Centenary Medal for his contributions to information technology; having published over 140 papers in the field; served several terms as president of the Australian Computer Society, and was the first person from the Southern Hemisphere to be World President of the International Federation for Information processing. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. He is one of a handful of foreigners who have been elected a Fellow of the Chinese Institute of Electronics.
    • He has a deep interest in the arts and has served as Chairman of the Queensland Theatre Company, Director of the Australian Ballet, the Queensland Ballet (Life Member), and the Queensland Performing Arts Trust.
